As a kid I remember my mother applying a paste of onion, turmeric and on my heels after I fell down from stairs. The next day was my board exam….. This is just one application I have seen my mother mixing turmeric powder with milk and giving us in case of flu.

Turmeric should be put in right quantity and in right time. If we put turmeric in curry or gravy and cook it on high flame then it kills the properties of turmeric.
For better result it is advised to sundry raw turmeric and then grind it.
