I often used to gaze at shalini, she was really fit and she could exercise non stop. Shalini was executive manager with one of the leading fashion house. Her job demanded her to be fit. She used to visit the same gym, where I had been going for a month. One day while exercising she suddenly started complaining of feeling weak and within few seconds she became unconscious. Shalini used to live in my colony and hence I took her to the doctor. The doctor after examining her found that she was excercisng beyond her capacity. Due to continuous exercises she was tired rather than fit. The doctor advised her to take proper food and exercise as per her bodymass ratio. There are some simple points which we should remember while exercising –
Due to exercise there is need of water and salt in our body. So if possible drink a glass of electrol powder or water after every 15 mintues of exercise.
After exercise drink a glass of milk, glucose or any fruit juice.
Exercise in open space so that we get fresh air .
The best time for exercise is early morning before sunrise or after sunset. Never exercise during daytime as the sunrays will make you exhausted.
Wear comfortable cotton clothes, which will not only make you feel comfortable with different postures but also will soak the sweat from your body.
People who are physically weak or are feeling uneasy shouldnot exercise. As exercise help in burning calories and which can lead to lower blood pressure. Lower blood pressure will make him feel more weak and can be fatal.
Obese people also should not exercise vigorously as the excess fat will hinder their movement and exhaust them at a short time. Instead they should increase the duration of exercise slowly.
Try to avoid exercising in hot and humid weather. Instead try out some free hand exercises. In humid condition we tend to sweat more and hence we feel easily tired. In such cases there is increase need to take glucose or electrol water.
Exercise should be done regularly. Regular exercise brings stamina and make us fit. Exercise which is done for example once in a week will not bring any result instead we will get body pain.
During winter season and hot summer season people tend not to exercise but then they should do some light free hand exercise. If not anything else they should go for walk. It will keep their body fit.
