In today’s busy life we do not pay attention to what we eat, whether it has any nutrition or not, whether it is good for health or not….. We are just interested in eating whatever we get easily and what is liked by our tastebuds.
We do not eat on time also, instead we eat whenever we feel hungry. Early morning we are in hurry to rush to office and thus sometimes we eat tea and toast and sometimes we just grab a sandwhich or sometimes we just come out empty stomach thinking that we will eat something in the canteen…… but that takes place only by 11 am so instead of having a breakfast and lunch we end up eating a brunch. Improper food habit has direct effect on our health. We end up eating more calories as the fast food and packaged food, on which our life depends has more calories than required by our body.
Liquid diet is easy to make, it has less calories and cholesterol and it is healthy and nutritious.
Liquid diet consist of fruit juices, vegetables juices like juice of carrot, pumpkin, beatroot, spinach etc. vegetable soup, lemon and honey mixed water, coconut water , herbal tea etc.
Early in the morning talk a walk for 10 mintues and then drink a glass of water mixed with honey and lemon juice. Honey lemon water is a great detoxifier. Before going for office if you do not have time to eat anything then just drink a glass of milk. or any fruit juice or aamla juice mixed with honey.
Take 10-12 basil leaves and paste it, mix glass of lukewarm water, juice of a lemon and honey and drink it. It will increase your immunity and will protect you from bacterial and viral disease.
For lunch in office take vegetable soup, or juice made out of carrot, tomato, spinach, cucumber or beetroot. They are high in calcium and minerals and are easy to drink while you are working.
In the evening sip some herbal tea or green tea, it will refresh you at the same time they help in flush out toxins.
Fir dinner make a soup of vegetables and lentils like arhar, moog dal or massor dal, for nonvegetarian people they can put chicken pieces in soup.
This diet can be taken once in a week or once in 10 days. It will burn your excess calorie and at the same time will improve your digestion.
Avoid eating chickoo, banana and mango as these are high calorie fruits while having liquid diet.
