ORS water – ORS water is the best alternative to drinking water during summer. It helps to fight against dehydration and maintain the salt and glucose level in the body. Many children do not like to have ORS water but these days ORS water is available in many flavours in the market.
Lassi – Lassi is made from beaten curd , to which sugar or salt is added to enhance its taste. Curd has pro-biotic bacteria which help to improve the digestive system. It has been observed that during summer many children and adults have digestive problems. In such cases lassi not only provides a way to fight dehydration but also helps in digesting food. Curd can be made easily at home and is also available in the market.
