My friend Madhurima was fair but one thing she used to get complimented for was her flawless skin. She was a Bengali girl….. and hence it was not surprising that she had beautiful skin. This can be controlled only if she takes care of her diet and some daily caring routine.. She shared some secret……
Cleaning – cleaning is the most important part of our daily routine. It is essential to keep ourselves clean. Cleaning of skin doesnot mean only applying soap or shower gel. But it means scrubbing, washing and moisturising.
Detoxification – Detoxification means flushing out toxins from body. Take a glass of lukewarm water and add one tablespoon of honey with juice of one lemon helps in this process. Even if you cannot do this. Drink one glass of lukewarm water in empty stomach.
Drink green tea – green tea has flavonoids which help in detoxification as well as removing scars from face.
Flakes seeds – flake seeds has omega 3 fatty acid and it has been used since ages for skin care. Take one spoonful of flakes seeds everyday for glowing skin and fit body.
Nuts – nuts are source of good fat and protein. They have potassium, selenium, magnesium and omega 3 fatty acid. Almond and walnuts specially are very good for skin.
Green vegetables and fruits – try to have one fruit every day. It is better to all seasonal fruits as they are nature’s gift to protect and keep our body health as our changing season. Mango for example helps to keep water content of our body, similar role is played by watermelon and these are available in summer when we need more water.
Similarly vegetables are great source of antioxidants and thus they keep our body and skin healthy.
Water – water is a miracle medicine for flawless skin. Drink at least 1 to 1.5 litres of water everyday. It helps to flush out toxins and keep body hydrated. It also leads to good digestive system.
