Exercise can be done in many ways…..remember the main motive of exercise is to stay fit. Towel exercise is something which can be easily done at home….and what’s more you can just do it before going for bath.
It is however better to do these exercises in empty stomach and at least for 10-20 minutes.
Before starting the exercise it is recommended to warm up your body. For this stand in a place and starts jogging. Do this for 5 minutes and then lie down on floor. There are following ways to exercise different parts of the body.
Chest exercises – while lying hold one end of the towel with your feet and hold the other end with your hands and then stretch once towards your face and alternatively towards your feet.. This will create the pressure from head towards toe. Breath slowly and then stretch the towel with your feet followed by stretching with hand . do this for 15-20 times.
Waist exercises – stand straight and keep your legs apart and then hold the towel ends with both of your hands. Then stretch the hands above your head as much as you can. Remain in this position for 15-20 minutes then bend on right side and then on left side standing in this position . follow this for 5 minutes This exercise help in slimming waist and relief in waist pain.
Thigh exercise – stand straight and hold the towel under one leg and stretch the ends by hand. Try to walk in this position for 5-6 steps. Follow with other leg.
Then hold towel perpendicularly with your hand and stretch then do sit up and sit down in this position for 10 minutes.
Shoulder exercise – stand with your legs apart. Then hold the ends of the towel with both your hand and . keep the right hand above the right shoulder and take the left hand near the back upper waist stretch for 2-3 minutes Follow this with left hand. Do this for 15-20 minutes.
Stomach exercise – sit on the floor and stretch your legs.then take one end of the towel in right hand side and take the other side from beneath the feet to left hand. Then stretch both of the ends of the towel with your hand and raise your legs as much as you can. This will create pressure on stomach . it helps in tummy tuck and waist trimming.
Towel exercises are easy to do…but remember it requires practice and yes the towel must be held properly and tightly so that it does not slip.
