Mrs Bhandari was very happy today as her daughter Shalini passed the CA examination. At the same time she was worried. Shalini was now 26 and she needs to search a suitable groom for her.Mrs Bhadari has been doing so for past 1 year and the main hindrance she faced was that her daughter was overweight . Shalini has been going to a slimming point club for exercise but she was not being able to control her diet and taste buds.
Sometimes we feel that we are very hungry and we tend to eat anything that we get instantly. Most of the time these are chips, chocolate, burgers etc. Exercise is needed for body fitness and it help to burn excess calories but if we keep on adding calories then it is of no use. Balanced diet and eating in appropriate quantity is needed to reduce excess fat from body.
There are few tips which will help you to avoid appetite.
Drink Soup – Take soup as starter. This will fill your stomach and you will not like to eat heavy. Do not put cream or butter but instead have pure vegetable soup.
Have protein – include protein in your daily diet. Our body can digest carbohydrate and fat very easily but it takes time to digest protein. So eat protein enriched diet like milk, chicken, pulses or egg to avoid apatite.
Fibrous food – fibrous food like food grains, vegetables and fruits also take time to digest and thus do not make us feel hungry. Fast foods which have Trans fat are easily digested and hence we can eat four packets of potato chips but cannot have four fruits at a time.
Have salads – eating salads with your meal also make you feel filled and hence you cannot eat much. Eat salad after meal to avoid desserts.
Drink water – Water not only helps to flush out toxins but it is an instant hunger killer. If you are feeling very hungry and cannot have anything then just drink water. It will immediately fill your stomach and you will not feel hungry.
Work – Keep yourself busy. The moment we sit idle we often tend to munch something or the other. If you keep yourself busy in some work your mind will not divert to eating.
Finally controlling your appetite requires will power. If you are not willing to control it, nobody can.
