Saliva has antibacterial properties which safeguard us from many diseases.Dr Agarwal also says that the pectin fibre found in apple help in prevention of Parkinson diseases. Apple peels contain as many as a dozen cancer-fighting chemical compounds, called triterpenoids which controls the activities of cancer causing cells in liver, kidney and breasts.
